Hey Panera!

So, you're looking for 80,000 square feet? How about this?

1881 Pine has five contiguous floors available - the entire building, up to 110,000 square feet - at just $14.00 psf.

It has a great location in up-and-coming Downtown West, close to major highways and public transportation, as well as Union Station, The Tap Room, and other exciting amenities. Ample surface parking is available nearby.

Did I mention it's only $14.00 psf?

Talk about a smart business decision!

It would be nice to see Panera take over one of the numerous buildings available in the city. Adding a Breadco to the ground floor of their new location would help add pedestrian activity at that location too.

What about that building at 20th & Olive? Maybe they need to look at Clayton ---- Centene has a few extra properties now.

The old Sherwood Medical building would be a good choice - a vacant class A building with interior parking (and we unfortunately all know how important that is).

Perhaps Kevin McGowan can come up with a creative solution as well, along the lines of his recent overture to Express Scripts. And obviously, Ballpark Village should be considered, but I'd really like to see downtown's existing buildings filled up before adding too much new inventory.
