Renovation Plans for 1225 Washington; Kennedy and Associates to Move from Met Square

The seven-story building at 1225 Washington - formerly marketed as the Avenida Lofts by Jacob Development Group - will now be redeveloped by the McGowan Brothers and Kennedy and Associates.

The $21 million project will feature ground floor retail space and four floors of loft apartments. Kennedy and Associates - a design-build firm - will take two floors of the building for its offices, moving its 95 employees from Met Square.
